Day 1: Kigali ➝ Akagera National Park (Southern Circuit)
Your journey begins with a warm welcome from our professional local guide at your Kigali hotel. After a short trip briefing, we hit the road for a scenic drive east, winding through Rwanda’s picturesque countryside and vibrant village life.
Upon arrival at Akagera, check in at your lodge and prepare for adventure! In the afternoon, set off on a game drive in the southern circuit near Lake Ihema. Expect encounters with elephants, zebras, buffalo, giraffes, hippos, and crocodiles—plus countless antelope species and water birds. The magical blend of rolling highlands, wetlands, and sparkling lakes creates one of the most spectacular safari backdrops in East Africa.
